The Stavros Carnival started earlier this year than previous years. 2.30pm was still lunch time so it took a little while for people to start arriving, but once they did, the Carnival was fun, not just for the northern communities' young ones, but also for the young at heart. The Stavros Primary school parent community, teachers, volunteers, Fimios and noted helper Riggos, did an excellent job. Away with the march this year, just straight ahead fun. It was a nice change. The kids and everyone else had a great afternoon.
