Epiphany 2018 in Frikes Ithaca Greece - Diving for the cross. Blessing of the waters in Greece

No rain this day for Epiphany, the annual religious celebration which sees priests bless the waters around the country with young men and boys diving for the cross.

In Frikes a couple of young men braved the very chilly waters of Frikes Bay to receive a special blessing by diving into the bay after the cross thrown by Papas Babis.
