What a night! Huge! Pumping and energetic! Crowded! Loud! Happy vibrations!
Apparently, the Anoghi Panighiri was a little slow to start, but suddenly, around midnight, just before I arrived, everyone turned up to make this festival what was expected of it. Fun.
The atmosphere of this festival is always electric, there is just something about this usually sleepy village, that makes for a great night. The dancing circle can get a little hectic, but somehow it all just works out fine. I nearly didn't make it, after nursing a migraine for most of the day, but not even I could stay away from this annual celebration, which is always a highlight of the summer events calendar.
Well done to the Anoghi community for another year!
