Kotsis was born in Kioni and has lived on Ithaca for most of his life, except for 9 years which he spent living in Austria. There he was a Landscape Gardener, here he's a Goat Herder and Shepherd.

Kotsis cares about his environment and is one of the growing community of ecologically-minded modern Greeks.

True to his heritage, he also loves to travel.  He's been to Austria, Italy and Czechoslovakia.  His hobbies are the always popular Ithacan hobbies of motorbikes and motorbikes.

What Kotsis would like most in his life now is to marry and settle down on Ithaca with someone he loves.
