About Us
Taverna Tseligas also known as "Moustaki" due to Maki's famous moustache, was established in 1986 and is located in the northern center of Stavros, near the historic palace of Stavros and next to the current village park and square.. Tseligas was built on the site that was labeled the sofa of the village square. It was a place where the locals would sit, discuss and philosophize.
Taverna Tseligas is run by Makis and Alexandra Vasiliopoulos and is provided for by the family farm with organic meats and cheese. The Tseligas Butcher adjoins the taverna.
