On a nice day the Cafes and Tavernas begin to put out a few tables for everyone to enjoy the increasing warmth of Spring, and pre - Easter Celebrations shake the Winter blues from Ithakis' bones. Friends meet again at their favourite Steki (hangout), and good conversations and Sunny-day walks capture Ithakis consciousness away from the isolation of the Winter months. Spring is the light at the end of the Winter tunnel and gives the island a new lease on life. The community prepares its façade with new colour and whitewash, getting ready for the Summer season ahead.
