  • From 18 June 2019 Ithaca will have Land Registry. Local property owners must register their properties within 3 months of this date or incur a fine. Foreign owners must register their properties within 6 months or incur a fine. Land Registry will make purchases more secure. To encourage the property market, the Greek government has reduced Transfer tax to 3% and also postponed Capital Gains tax on property sales.
