The theatre was held in the Kioni church grounds, which Stelios noted had some resistence from the Kioni overseers, whoever they may be.

His belief however, sees the church as inclusionary, not exclusionary, thus ignored the bad gossip and continued with the show.

Kioni has talent that can't be ignored, not only in Stelios Parris and the eager and happy children of the village. It also has talent in those who were raised here, but don't live here anymore.

Eva Koutsouveli (singer) and Francesca Santarosa (guitarist and drummer) just to name a couple, but there are many, Ithaca in general is a place packed with talent of all kinds. We're very lucky.
