Stavros Panighiri - Sotiros 2016 Ithaca Greece Summer Festivals

Sotiros, the Stavros Panighiri (Festival) is the biggest celebration on the island for the Summer. The first night is also usually the busiest, and although the dance circle was buzzing with fun and activity, everyone did notice that the numbers were down this year.

Personally I don't mind it not so busy, we get to walk comfortably through the village, dance and keep your toes, there's always an upside to everything. The numbers may have been down, but the KEFI definitely wasn't. There was alot of good cheer to soak in. A great night.
