Friday 1st - KALO MINA TO EVERYONE!

Yesterday Ithaki celebrated Tsiknopempti around the island from Vathy to Kioni. For some pics CLICK HERE or on photograph below.

Monday 4th - Ithaki is coming out of hibernation. Spring is in the air and blossoms and wild flowers begin to colour the landscape again.

Work on Piso Aetos port is going full steam ahead. Good progress, so hopefully by Summer we'll have some major improvement, although it's a big job so we may have one more summer with port mayhem.

Wednesday 6th - The gold glow of sun down on Ithaca Greece.

Saturday 9th - Spring is here and soon wild flowers will line every path and road we take.

Sunday 10th - So much happening this weekend - parties, carnival and Clean Monday. Get your sleep, it's going to be a big 3 days.

Sunday 10th - Music and good cheer echoed around the mountains of Stavros last night with the 2019 Carnival Party held at the local community hall. Dance is put on by Odysseas Football Club and the Stavros community. For more pics click here or on photograph below.

Monday 11th - Click Here or on photograph below for yesterday's Carnival Parade in Vathy. A great day with lots of music, fun and colour.

Tuesday 12th - It's been a busy weekend with Carnival and Clean Monday, but now it's on to the serious business of getting the island ready for the 2019 Season with the Biggest Event of the Greek Calendar, Greek Easter landing at the end of April, just when the season begins. It's going to be hectic.

Friday 15th - With the pre Easter and Carnival celebrations done, Ithaca is getting on with preparing for the 2019 holiday season. It might look quiet on the outside, but there's lots of preparations going on.
