Tuesday 1st
We have officially started Summer 2021. Hopes are high. Below - Kioni Bay filling up with private yachts.

Thursday 3rd - We're still waiting for the heat Athens has been experiencing, but seeing Summer is officially here, it won't be long before we reach the high 20's and mid 30s. Below - The natural harbour of Vathy.
Saturday 5th - You can't go past the beautiful bay capital of Vathy. It's where all the action is (maybe a little less with covid, but still the hub of the southern island.)
Monday 7th - It's warming up a little this week.

Wednesday 9th - You may be surprised to know that this is the last year Rementzo Restaurant in Frikes will be working. Coming in 2022, from a beautiful hillside overlooking Afales Bay, Poppy and Nek will be presenting a work of pure love, Myrtia. A place to learn about Greek food with cooking lessons, but also a place to enjoy some of the best Greek kitchen Ithaca has to offer.

Above - Kioni is always a popular spot for eating out. A cocktail before dinner at Spavento maybe before dinner at Lizzy's. Lizzy's was closed last year, but it's all business again this year. Below - Not alot of people on the ferry for Ithaca, but those that ARE here are quite enjoying the place to themselves and the intimate atmosphere. I do think everyone is keeping their fingers crossed that we'll see a full and thriving island this Summer.

Above - Some people brighten up everyone's night and day. Juan is one of those people. He's been sailing into Ithaca from nearly 30 years, bringing visitors to our shores. Below - Ithaca attracts the nicest people, whether by yacht or by ferry, there's something about visitors who choose Ithaca that makes us love them (most of them)
Thursday 10th - The day started fine, sunny and warm and then in the middle of the afternoon, it began to rain. Big drops. It cleared up pretty quickly though.

Above - Medousa was almost completely wiped out through the medicane last year, but Katerina is back with Medousa after much work to rebuild was done.

Thursday 3rd
Saturday 5th - Nearly closing out the first week of June. Soon we'll be deep into Summer with all that Summer provides on an idyllic Greek Island.
