Thursday 20th - Today is Tsiknopempti (burnt Thursday). We'll have some pics later or tomorrow.
Saturday 22nd - Tsiknopempti on Ithaca brought locals and visitors together for a sun-filled celebration of food, music, and tradition. In Vathy Square, the scent of grilled meats filled the air as high school students served up treats. Over in Kioni, the community hall was alive with music from Vaggeli Bitouras and guest performer Vangelis Michalatos, along with fun performances by local favorites like the Singing Priest, Papa Babi, and others. A day full of kefi, dancing, and shared joy marked another unforgettable Tsiknopempti! Click Here for pics or on photo below.
Monday 24th - Saturday was the annual Forky's Theatre Group Carnival Party whcih of course was another huge success. If you missed it, you missed out! For more pics CLICK HERE or on photo below.
Thursday 27th - Ithaca,as the rest of Greece, is gearing up for Carnival time. Of course the big one is in Patras on the Mainland, but Ithaca's Carnival parade and entertainment has always been special and good fun.
